FWB Tea Party

Dear Tea Partiers,

We’ve had a very difficult time communicating with everyone lately.  We hope to get this email situation squared away soon, but we need you to be proactive in keeping up with our events and please help others to get updates and information.  To actually take the lead in standing up for freedom, we all have to do our part to make this work.

As you’ve seen in the news, we are making a tremendous difference in shaping the debate.  Congress is being much more cautious with legislation than they were earlier in the year.  As we approach the next election cycle, we expect elected officials to start listening to their constituents even more!  Let’s keep this up.

Upcoming Events

  • Tuesday, October 13th, 7-9 pm, Exec Committee Meeting at the American Legion on Hollywood Blvd
  • Tuesday, October 27th, 7-9 pm, Exec Committee Meeting at the American Legion on Hollywood Blvd
  • November 3-8 at the NWF Fair, Booth at the Fair
  • Tuesday, November 10th, 7-9 pm, Exec Committee Meeting at the American Legion on Hollywood Blvd
  • Saturday, November 14th, time TBA, Rally at the NWF Fairgrounds

10/13 Meeting Agenda

We are doing our executive committee meetings a bit differently.  We will do our normal invocation, Pledge of Alliance, read the 6 Core Principles, read previous meeting minutes, short summary for new members, Cap and Trade discussion, discuss any new news or events, updates from Team Leaders, open floor until 8 pm.

Break out into smaller Action Teams (Legislative, Events, Marketing/Publicity, Fundraising, Membership, Community Outreach)

Remember our online store is now open.  Visit this on our website at http://www.FWBTeaParty.com/store.  We have yard signs, buttons, Pocket Constitutions.  These items will be available at our Exec Meeting as well as at the Fair and our 11/14 Rally.  If you have suggestions for what you would like to purchase, let us know.  We need to raise money to hold upcoming Rallies and get more exposure for this group.  The community wants to hear more about us!

Also, we have some sponsors that have helped us out tremendously. Check out the Sponsorship section on our website. Agora Booth (www.AgoraBooth.com) and Coastal Cooling (www.CoastalCooling1.com) have helped tremendously in our early formation days. If you need any gift ideas or get your Heating ready for the winter, please give consideration to the companies that are helping us all stand up for freedom!

Informational News Website

We have launched an initiative called the Citizens Freedom Press.  Anytime a FWB Tea Party member attends a government meeting, a community event, interviews a business or political leader, please submit what you learned and we can share the information with other concerned citizens.  This initiative is at http://www.CitizensFreedomPress.com.  Now information can get out to everyone and not get lost anywhere.

This is a very exciting time for people who want the government to be more responsible and listen to the voters.  We are seeing some small changes and need to continue reaching out to the community and our elected leaders to make sure they are advancing freedom for all of us.

I hope to see you out at our next Executive meeting on Tuesday.

Sincere regards,

Chris Saccomanno, Organizer
